This is the monthly siren test for Forest County, which happens on the first Saturday of every month at 1:00 PM. If you notice lots of popping in the audio, that's all on me. The original recording of the STH-10 was only 15 seconds, and I had to extend it! I tried my best to hide it, but it still sounds bad. Stereo sound, at least? Name: Federal Signal STH-10 (Single Tone High - 10 HP) Chopper port: 12 Alert time: around 30 seconds (They did it!) Tower height: None, on roof Other sirens heard: None Decibel output at 100 ft: 115 Location: On top of the roof of a fire department in a different town. Used for fire calls, too! Cool Facts: The STH-10 was one of Federal Signal's most popular siren along with the Thunderbolt, being made from 1955 to 2005 after being replaced by the ECLIPSE-8. As you may know, a lower 7 port version (STL-10) exists, and those could even come with square horns!
Thanks to Thunderbolt1000Tfan on YouTube for the STH-10 audio! Do you have any siren recommendations for what I could do next? Put it in the comments! Did I make it too dark? It is supposed to be a Thunderstorm... rain
