Hi guys, it's been about a billion years since I've posted on main and everyone knows I just Love money so, I'm kindly inviting a few people to enlist onto the Ultimate Collab OTA Theming: Memes from my camera roll Most slots will have prepicked images, but there will be a select few slots where you can enter your own meme to base a design off of. More on that in a second, just bear with me [ TABLE OF CONTENTS ] -What is a COTA/how it'll work -Theming -Expectations and guidelines -Slots - What is a COTA ? - A COTA or Collab Offer to Adopt works just like a typical OTA but with designs contributed by multiple people in one project. Every participant makes one or a few designs, and submits their design(s) and preferences so that the host can compile them all in a project under one theming/name for people to see. Pretty neat ! - Theming - If it wasn't blatantly obvious from the title, this COTA is based off of images from my camera roll, in a memish sense. I save memes and other laughable images into my photos regularly and while some of them are completely unusable as design prompts, some of them might be interesting and get a different angle from typical prompts. While anyone who ends up participating is free to make their designs in a satirical sense, I encourage making usable, coherent designs that only reference the original image (it's also funnier to me that way). Biggest thing: I encourage quality over quantity, so don't feel rushed to pick whatever surface level themings you think fit and maybe get a little english teacherish with it. We love to see it, you know abstract sourcing is also heavily encouraged, things like just Aura or color pallet are welcome - Expectations and Guidelines - As per most events by me, there are guidelines. Failure to follow them may have your form invalidated, or you may be disqualified from the lineup if you were accepted in. -THE BIGGEST WORRY OF MINE: GETTING THIS OUT IN A TIMELY MANNER. I'm looking at a publishing date around mid-february (one month from nowish). My latest intended finish date would be end of february, so that's the latest you'll get before you're dropped and I'll make a design in your place. (check schedule in project) -No bases/ai/anything like that, art should be fully original and drawn by you -On that note please make your design clear and concise. No doodle designs or anything similar. There's no limit to what you include in your entry so feel free to add whatever you'd like to make it clearer -Entries should be a remix or sent to me offplatform somewhere I can keep track of them (th or da maybe, pisscord if you know me). NO SUBMISSION LINKS IN MY COMMENTS !!! depending on traction it might get buried -Don't. make your entry before you see your name on the list of people participating. if you make a design before i accept you officially it is NOT my fault, you're gonna have to figure out what to do with that on your own -Fill out the form accordingly, incorrectly filled out forms mean I won't get the accurate information I want out of it -if you're submitting your own meme it cannot be fandom specific unless it's only vaguely fandom specific/very well known, (like sans or bill cipher or something) to avoid referencing memes that only a portion of people can understand anyway, here's the form.
