howdy! I'm HotMessWeeb, a 19 year old living in the midwest who has been in love with warrior cats for..almost ten years now lol. I've been roleplaying for almost just as long, i've been in probably hundreds of rps by now..most dead but I've years into some, building a good menagerie of ocs. Im applying for Rainswept. I absolutely love his design, and i know there's so much potential with his character. I've also been using she-cats for the longest time, and i would love the chance to build a new male character I'm fairly atcive, i check scratch daily. More frequently when i am actively rping with someone, id give myself maybe a 7-8/10 lowered simply from work and the fact that im moving for the next week I would be keeping him cis male, unlabeled sexuality but a strong she-cat preference (+) extroverted, patient, attentive (=) no-nonsense, quiet/selective mutism, obedient (-) blunt, aloof, abrasive, obsessive Rainswept is a tom of few words, preferring to keep his vivid imagination to himself, and when he does speak it is always straight to the point. He is very blunt and aloof, not one for sarcasm or metaphors. Despite his abrasive way of speaking and his seemingly uncaring attitude, he is a very attentive cat who notices small details and if very affectionate. His love languages are physical touch and acts of service/gift giving, he will often bring random trinkets or shiny gifts to those he cares about. He shows a handful of autistic/ocd traits, being rather silent, intelligent, realistic, having a hard time reading emotions, and having a tendency to obsess over special interests and relationships. Rainswept is an extrovert despite all this, enjoying company and social settings, adventures, politics, etc. loud noises don't bother him at all, though he is very texture sensitive to very specific things. Klinefelter syndrome is a genetic condition that occurs when a male has an extra X chromosome, resulting in the cat having XXY instead of XY chromosomes. This results in the cat or human or animal being infertile, along with a group of other potential affects; brittle bones prone to being shattered, ADHD, diabetes, weight issues, reduced muscle mass, learning disabilities, wide hips, anxiety, irritability, delayed speech, and increased risk of autoimmune disorders to name a few. I have spent a good while researching this on personal time, i have a diluted calico OC of my own who also has klinefelter syndrome. I only learned what jrp is after making my examples lol, i apologize for that but theres a few examples along with one from Rainswept's POV :'3 some extra i suppose Rainswept has a very blank expression all the time, a smile is a once a season occurrence for him. Rainswept is not a fan of nicknames, but he accepts others do and will respond to nicknames and call others by them if requested of him Fan of meditation, hunting, and plants, though has no interest in medicine. He just thinks flowers are neat Favorite prey is a water shrew He's very careful, unless given an order otherwise. He would never climb a tree of his own accord for fear of falling, but if he is told to and given a valid reason he will do it in a heartbeat and be terrified the whole time Very hard time expressing and recognizing emotions, a large learning curve there. Not particularly vain, but spends a long time making sure his branches and flowers are neat and healthy very much so a loverboy, he just needs some patience and the opportunity to show it <3
