I would not be posting this but I really want to post something on my birthday so sadly it’s going to have to be a boring drawing and not some cool ninja turtle animation I am not a fan of just posting a project announcing my birthday so I will in fact be copy and pasting the ninja turtle yap session I had on TH: Since it’s my birthday I am going to be spouting facts and opinions at a high velocity please duck and be careful I think it’s completely and utterly unfair that the Rise of the TMNT isn’t getting a 3rd season. There are an insane amount of fans for it and I bet they’d get bank dude. The only people who would be disappointed are the TMNT fans who always think every newer generation TMNT that isn’t before 2012 is bad. SPEAKING OF THAT I think it’s also unfair how people hate on rise and mutant mayhem just because they’re childish and different. If they didn’t change up the ninja turtle franchise a slight bit to appeal to newer audiences then the series would probably slowly get more and more irrelevant as time went on. I say just let the ninja turtles act like the current teenage generation and leave them in peace as long as it’s still fitting to the brand (teenage mutated turtles who have the colors orange, blue, purple, and red, have a baseline personality, and have the same villains, allies, and bond) I often think about that one banned German TMNT commercial for I believe it was pickles. Very odd. SPOILER WARNING FOR THE RISE MOVIE AND SEASON 2 BEGIN HERE I really like how they aged up the turtle between season 2 of rise and the movie. It helped show the development that Leo needed to get since he had become leader. I just in general really enjoy Leo’s character development in that movie. I mean I would expect someone who had been thrown into a dimension with an alien creature who wanted him dead with no knowing that he would ever be saved to change a little bit at least. Yeah all around fire movie and fire show and man I miss you rise SPOILER WARNING OVER I wish I remade that “Brittle Bones Nicky” PMV thing I posted on my birthday last year but as soon as I opened the canvas to start my motivation ran away and I started drawing Link Click cats sigh. There were some things I would’ve changed and I wish I did but maybe one day Mikey accepts pineapple pizza can we get a let’s go in chat (Leo also likes pineapple pizza) Can we talk about how in some ninja turtle versions the turtles do NOT look like teenagers (I’m looking at you TMNT bayverse)?? They’re 15 team, I don’t think they’re like huge turtle men. I guess it is up to interpretation really because they are fictional mutant turtles, I just personally find it a little funny. Okay I’ll stop here but how fun was that!! How exciting!!
