The thing about the Scratch-art community.. The problems in the Scratch art community are pretty complicated and really need more attention, especially when it comes to how artists are judged. For example, design classes are meant to help us be creative and improve our skills, but they can sometimes end up making things worse. Experienced users often take the spotlight, which might give the impression that only certain styles or techniques are worth praising. This creates a kind of ranking system that can hold back real artistic expression and make it harder for all artists to succeed. Especially when it comes to art events like OTAs , adopts , DTAs , and other such things like heavily applies. Another major issue is all the tracing happening in the community. A lot of people (especially young children) might not understand how this affects originality and authenticity. When tracing becomes common, it can take away from the appreciation of original work, leading to too much attention on just a few popular artists. This not only discourages new artists from showing their unique ideas but also creates a culture where being creative is judged by how well you can imitate someone else, instead of being truly innovative. It’s super important for the Scratch art community to create a more welcoming environment that values everyone’s contributions. We need to encourage viewers and such to appreciate creativity in all its forms. By focusing more on originality rather than popularity, we can help everyone, no matter their experience level, shine and be recognized for their unique ideas and artistic skills. Now let me make this be clear. I am not talking about any specific creator or artist here on Scratch I am just speaking out on the past things and experiences Ive had during my 4 years here on Scratch!! Again I am not here to target anyone person or creator I am just speaking from past experiences <:)
