✚ Foraging and Healing ✚ ———— Foraging for Herbs Foraging involves a cat searching for herbs to help with healing. The success of foraging depends on the cat’s Perception, and the result of the roll will determine whether they successfully find herbs and how much HP they recover. ———— How Foraging Works: - Ask to roll : When a player decides to forage, they’ll ask a staff to roll for Perception. This is a simple roll of a d20 + their Perception modifier. - Success or Failure: Success: If the total roll (d20 + Perception) is higher than 15 the foraging attempt is successful, and a d4 will be rolled to see how much HP you gained back If a nat. 20 is rolled, your cat will receive 10HP back Failure: If the total roll is lower than the 15 the foraging attempt fails, and no herbs are found. If a critical fail is rolled (a 1) your cat will lose a HP point trying to find herbs (e.g your cat gets attacked by a dog) ———— Once you have rolled your cat cannot forage again until tommorow All rolls happen here: ———— Example of Foraging Roll: Player: "Rolling to forage! 8 Perception" Cat's Perception: 8 Staff Roll: 1d20 + 8 (Perception modifier) Let's say the roll comes out to a 9 on the d20, giving a total of 17. This passed the difficulty set (15) Result: The cat succeeds and finds a plant that restores 5 HP
