glorykit was furious. absolutely furious. seedpaw was dead. his worst enemy was dead, and HE DIDN'T GET TO KILL HER WITH HIS OWN CLAWS! this was an injustice. starclan took her away before he could. for. no. reason. and that wasn't even the worst of it. glorykit was six moons old. completely old enough, completely ready - more than ready! - to become an apprentice. his golden eyes had been bright with excitement, his smile wide as he padded up to the highrock for the ceremony. dazzlingstar called out name after name, assigning mentor after mentor, and glorykit waited patiently. his turn would come soon! but it never did. the leader had skipped over him, left him stuck as a kit. for. no. reason. all the kits in his age group had moved on without him. for. no. reason. starclan must have done this. they must have sent dazzlingstar a sign, that glorykit didn't deserve to start his apprenticeship. for. no. reason. why would everyone do this to him? was it because of his violent instincts? his murderous fantasies? his taunting of the weaker kits? his fascination with the dark forest? that was all okay, of course, because glorykit was /never/ wrong. he always knew the cleverest plan, the strongest battle move, the way to tug at a cat's heart and get them to do what he wanted them to. for starclan's sake, glorykit was the strongest cat in flurryclan! so why did they take everything from him? for. no. reason. curse the stars, he would never worship them again. perhaps those crab-brains over there in urchinclan had been right about something - starclan was overrated. glorykit remembered his talk with sagepaw, about the dark forest. they seemed intriguing. they seemed to get at the very essence, the meaning of life in a way starclan did not. maybe he'd worship them instead. flurryclan had always been his home, and he had been forever dedicated and loyal to serving them. but then they refused to give him the respect, the rank he deserved. for. no. reason. it tore at his heart to think about leaving them, but his heart had turned cold for flurryclan. he would leave. become a loner, maybe join that group of cats who liked violence as much as he did. maybe they would treat him with the respect and admiration he deserved. the smile cult, or something? glorykit would try to seek them out. glorykit - no, glory/paw/! he would not stand a kit name for any more moons! and he didn't need starclan's approval to name himself that. it seemed starclan already didn't approve of him anyway. as glorypaw slipped out of camp, for the first and last time, he didn't look back. flurryclan was not his home anymore. revenge was when he was the most dangerous. and he'd get his revenge on his former clan. for. a. reason.
this was my first srp, hope you enjoyed :D art by @shibainu2345!!! basically the background to this is my litter host filled out the form wrong and then went inactive, so glory was never registered...soooo he never aged, and never became an apprentice. i turned that into some ohio sigma rizzler lore (and an excuse to join the smile cult hehe)
