Side note: this does mean I will not be continuing work on this game, and mage duels will not be completed. Sorry if you were hoping for that, but you can instead be excited for Wizard Dungeon 2.0! Summon forth powerful magic spells and form unbeatable strategies to defeat your opponents in the turn-based combat system of the Wizard Dungeon! The goal is to beat the DARK SLIME (level 30) or at least level 100 in endless (in slime rush) or to beat Lazarus (in mage duels) Please don't judge the art I've been focusing on the mechanics and gameplay. I might get around to the art at some point (I have been) Slime Rush: figure it out its not that complicated Click on the items to remove them (that means the eye) Keep an eye out for Easter Eggs! Mage Duels has a tutorial so I'm using this space for character bios and plot hole fillers, characters in order of complexity Wizard is a powerful mage who uses a rare power, the ability to use many types of magic at once. His unassuming wand can absorb the magic of defeated enemies, but it can only hold one special spell at a time. the wand also has the ability to revive its user by sacrificing all of the magic it has absorbed. Despite his short stature, he is a force to be reckoned with. Player Tips: make a strat or sompeting Arena name: Pyra Background: a Pyromancer and forsaken witch, she was banished from her home and forced to live away from society, where she has honed her fire to devastating potential. Fighting style: Pyra is all about damage, and she tries to crush enemies before they have a chance to do anything, without much regard for how much damage she will take in the process. Player Tips: SPAM DAMAGE Arena name: Aqua Background: an Aquomancer and the healer of her community, she is loved by everyone she knows and unbelievably kind at heart. When fighting, she lets her waves do all the work, as she wishes to not harm anyone herself. She interacts with her crystal orb as if it were a pet, and acts as though it is another person when in combat. Because of this fact, she always refers to herself as "we" Fighting Style: water is the essence of life, and Aqua's spells focus on healing, while fitting in heavy attacks every once in a while Player Tips: you cant attack very well, so focus on blocking and healing, slowly whittling down your opponent's HP Arena name: Terras Background: a tough Terromancer, he trained as a sage in the wilderness and came to duel tough opponents to test his skill. he wields a sword, imbued with his crystal, to cast his magic, but he prefers physical attacks, which is why his damage doesn't quite match up to most other duelists, but his incredible defenses make up for it Fighting Style: Terras prefers close-range, physical combat, so most of his magic creates barriers or encases his body. the sheer durability of the earthen material he can control is what makes him so intimidating, and even though he doesn't hit too hard, he doesn't get hit hard either. Player Tips: Keep on blocking stuff until you win, I guess Arena name: Auros Background: the prince of a far off kingdom, Auros is a very skilled aeromancer; the wind does as he wishes. he came to test his combat capability, using the gem embedded in his circlet, he can create powerful whirlwinds and slashes, all while evading attacks and recovering from anything that hits him. Fighting Style: Auros has a very all-rounder type fighting Style that is very difficult to master, using many different types of spells and complicated strategies to completely outplay his opponents Player Tips: This is the most difficult character, so try to conserve your best spells for when you need them All magic users have a crystal, which allows them to use magic in ways other than mostly uncontrollable bursts. however, some magic users found a kind of Red Gem that can artificially enhance their magic power, at the expense of not being able to pick what spell they are using most of the time. these magic users became known as Bosses.
