[ LOADING YOUR GAME ] You can load back to a quest by using the password at the top left of the map. Characters from optional stages, character levels, monsters, and gil aren't saved. [ Quest Screen ] At the top (from the second quest onward), there is a password that can be put into the load game screen. [ Battle ] If you want to know what a skill does, select the magnifying glass icon on the left side of the screen and click the skill you want to inspect. To return to the quest map, press the boot icon. Monsters have a chance of being captured when defeated. Only one monster can be captured per battle. To release a captured monster mid-battle, click the 'R' icon twice. You can only hold 6 monsters at one time. Boss' break DEF, is displayed by the digit on their bottom left. Hitting their elemental weakness decreases it by 1. When it reaches 0, they'll go into 'break'. This increases the damage they take, skips their next turn, disables counters, and for some, knocks them out of certain stances. You can gain SP by defending, using a monster, or using that character's default fight command (usually has a sword icon). [ Bugs and Glitches ] I likely won't be performing very many updates after the initial release, but feel free to drop any major glitches in the comments. Try pressing the green flag and resuming your game to see if this fixes any issues. There's an issue towards the endgame where clones stop working and I haven't... quite figured out how to stop this. If the battle freezes, press the green flag, and resume. [ Special Buffs/Ailments ] Old: Reduces ATK and DEF. Does not expire. Void: Reduces ATK and DEF. Poison. Does not expire. Mindblast: Reduces ATK and DEF. Poison. Does not expire. Wrath: Triggers counterattack when hit while active. Cloak: Nullifies fire and water attacks. Exposure: Increases DMG taken. Does not expire. Order: Boost DMG dealt. Initial attack only. Expires after use. Miracle: An otherwise lethal blow will leave you at 1 HP.
