Most crimes are silent; invisible to the naked eye. Nobody pays attention. Nobody bothers to find out what would happen next if they were too curious. But that’s not how it works where I live. Criminals crawl before the streets. You don’t have to try hard before you hear a shrill scream. But it’s only the few who know. Those few know how everything works. How gullible the rest are. The town’s people lack common sense. The police, straight up vigilante. Which means you’ll have to break the law, to stop them from breaking the law. And that’s not easy. But if there’s too much crime, you can learn how to keep a secret. Just watch out for them. Don’t let your guard down. They’re always out there, but not visible to the naked eye; to the ones who seek for their appearance.
