Inspired by @theChaotic 's Super Slime Smash Ultimate game. Devlog: *Wherever I put 24 I meant 2025 and I set the dates up: Month/Day/Year Jan 19, 2025 - Added some pixel ui! I also changed the level requirements so that the levels wouldn't be so short, and I made the hot air balloon not go as low. I made the super jumping enemy actually super jump. I also made the amount of enemies and how fast they spawn gradually increase! Jan 18, 2025 - Replaced the boring old skin in the shop with double coins! I'm still stuck on the art, I want a simple style but I'm having trouble making nice UI 1/16/25 - Added a shop! 1/15/25 - Attempted to add a shop, didn't go well. 1/14/25 - Added a score counter and an ammo counter! And a little balloon to pick you up and take you to the next level! 1/13/25 - Added swerving flying enemies that follow the same code I used for the bobbing orbs and it works great! 1/12/25 - I need to add 2 other enemy types for level 2. One of them needs to shoot things ( but how would I handle the clones for that? ) and another needs to fly. Aka a fire breathing dragon and a flying one! 1/12/24 - Added two different levels, smth to switch between them, and a button thingy you can click to go to the next level when the level requirements are met. 1/12/24 - I also made it so that 2 enemies spawn every 5 seconds, similar to chaotic's game 1/12/24 - X MINUTES LATER: I made it so that the enemies disappear after getting to the edge, so that the player isn't overwhelmed with a million enemies (similar to how it is in 's game. 1/12/24 - ~ Some amount of time later ~ I added in ammo crates! They spawn randomly every 10 seconds, falling from the sky, and replenish your ammo when you jump on them ( or when your y pos is bigger than theirs...) 1/12/24 - Made different custom blocks for each enemy type ( keeps things neat! ). I need to add collectibles that spawn across the place and ammo, so that the player needs to move around to win the game instead of just standing there in the middle of the screen shooting. 1/11/24 - I'm going for a simple game here. So I took this simple engine and added in some enemies and whatnot. Red enemies are the normal enemies, they just walk. The blue ones can jump. ( I coded those different types in myself :D )
