Jin waited underneath the stairwell, as Amethyst had promised; they would meet up again. Right here, same spot. It had only been a few minutes since lunch started; but she was getting worried. She nervously twirled her long blonde hair while waiting and took her glasses on and off again. She was alone. That was the last thing she'd ever want. Just then, Amethyst showed up, getting comfortable sitting next to Jin. ❝Hey, sorry for making you wait a bit long. The teacher was helping me, and-❞ Amethyst noticed Jin's nervous mannerisms. ❝Are you ok? You're fidgeting....❞ Jin was zoning out before turning to face her. ❝Huh? Oh, y-yeah, I'm fine...!❞ Jin had taken notice of the fact Amethyst now had 2 lunchboxes with her. She sheepishly asked; ❝Is one of those for me?❞ Amethyst replied. ❝Oh, yes! I stayed up a bit late last night making these for us! I didn't know what you would like, so I put in the same stuff that's in mine! Wanna try?❞ She handed the lunchbox to Jin. Jin opened it, it smelled amazing; using her chopsticks she grabbed some of the crab that was in there and took a bite. Heaven, that was the only way to describe the taste. ❝W-wow....❞ She took a few more bites, savoring the taste ❝This is great!❞ She spoke with a very satisfied tone, she couldn't remember the last time; or any time really, when she had something this amazing. Amethyst ate along side Jin. ❝Well I'm glad you like it! would you want me to bring another tomorrow? I dont mind staying up to cook.❞ Jin just nodded excessively, her happiness evident in the slight smile on her face. ||The next day, December 16th|| Once again, the two met underneath the stairwell for lunch, but Jin seemed to be hiding something; which Amethyst took notice of. ❝Jin, not to be rude...but are you hiding something?❞ She asked, seeming worried yet curious. ❝I...❞ Jin sighed, with a shaky-ish breath. ❝If I show you...would you be upset?❞ Amethyst shook her head. ❝No! It's better to tell the truth rather than hide behind a lie!❞ Jin sighed again; her breathing less shaky now. ❝Ok...here goes...❞ She gestured for her to back out from underneath the stairwell, to show herself properly. When Amethyst looked she almost did a double take. Jin was wearing the boys uniform. Before she could say anything Jin spoke up: ❝I-I like it on me, is that bad?❞ ❝It makes me....happy.❞ Jin once again fidgeted with her hair. Amethyst stood there for a second, not in shock but...in surprise. ❝You look amazing, Jin!❞ ❝B-but where did you get it...?❞ Jin swallowed apprehensively, hesitant to say anything about the origins of the outfit. ❝It was my brothers when he went here....I found it laying around and put it on.❞ ❝And when I saw myself in the mirror it made me....e-euphoric...?❞ She struggled to pronounce the last word. ❝I liked it. Even though it's a boys thing.❞ Amethyst smiled again, her eyes full of care and understanding. ❝Thats great! Do what makes you happy, Jin.❞ Jin spoke up again. ❝I was worried...you wouldnt be my friend...❞ Amethyst replied; ❝No, no...❞ She looked at Jin's small, fragile hands ❝Can I ...?❞ Jin nodded while Amethyst held Jin's hands. ❝The way you dress would never stop me from being your friend.❞ ❝We arent even officially 'friends' yet....❞ Jin looked away slightly, mostly out of shyness. Amethyst giggled, that same cute giggle she always did when something was amusing to her. ❝Well how about we make it official? Starting today....as of December 16th, 2015.
