Been a bit since I’ve entered a DTA! But I liked this fellow a lot, so might as well give it a try! 1- Original design, art by @-Katsocks- 2- Anthro business tiger 3- Feral realism kinda tiger 4- No background or bubbles 5- No shading 6- No more blue hair, no more pronouns Okay okay okay. So the two art pieces are like incredibly vastly different from each other. This is because I have two different lore ideas and I’m not sure which one I want to go with. Business tiger lore: Beastars inspired (haven’t actually watched/read it, but I know the basic concept thanks to fan content). In a world of anthro animals, she has a very powerful position in life thanks to her general charisma and being a literal tiger. She works hard to not come off as intimidating and make sure everyone feels safe around her. But she ends up in cahoots with a coworker who’s definitely involved in some crime stuff. Bettering-the-world crime stuff, but crime stuff nonetheless. Now she has to choose between what feels like giving in to all the stereotypes she’s been fighting off for so long for the sake of having a chance to fix something in the world, or continue living as she has been, as her mental health slowly deteriorates with every piece of herself she changes for the comfort of others. Spooky water tiger lore: Kinda folklore inspired. A woman, threatened by various reasons, is chased into the forest, where she is confronted by a tiger in a river. Should she dive in, she would be eaten. Should she stay out, she’d be caught by whom she runs from. She chooses to dive in. The tiger attacks, but fueled by adrenaline, fear, and rage, she fights back. She knows she cannot win, but she could at least bring it down with her. As both she and the tiger are dying, their blood mixes together in the water of the river. Their souls become irreparably tied to the others, becoming a new being together, with the strength of a tiger and the rage of the woman. This creature takes the form of a normal tiger until it chooses to reveal its true power, its stripes transforming to water flowing beneath its skin, come alive by the magic of the river. It can also take the form of as a woman wearing the pelt of a tiger. Her hair, though hidden by the hood of her tiger skin cloak, flows of river water. She lurks in the forests near towns, waiting to find those who harmed her, to finally get her revenge. So we’ve either character angst (my favorite), or tiger-selkie who will eat you (also my favorite). Idk which idea I like better, so please let me know your thoughts!
