Recently I’ve been struggling with artblock, trying to draw but lacking creativity. And I have been seeing people try and work their minds to make a creative monster for Artblock, but artblock isn’t about creativity. Artblock is about lacking creativity, or hating the things you draw, thinking that it looks terrible. So I decided to do my own spin on this monster. I used the pen I usually use for drawing, and made the most generic monster design ever, dark black, long and lanky, and covered in eyes. I’ll put some lore down below
The Creativity Sucker, or most commonly known as Artblock, is a creature made from shadow, who sulks around, looking for prey. Artblocks feast upon the most creative and bright minded people, they appear all over the world. Artblocks will even go as far as possessing their prey’s shadow, convincing them that anything they made was not good enough. How the Artblock eats is quite simple, they possess the prey’s shadow, and starts convincing the prey what they made isn’t good enough, they will start feeding off their creativity after the prey stops or struggles with making things until they have their fill, then they will leave the prey’s shadow, sulking away until they find more creativity to feed off of.
