So basically, Maiz was kidnapped by Fuu in the middle of a sparring session with Kolra. He was transported to the dimension of Nowhere where Fuu told him that Maiz was simply too dangerous to his plans to keep around, not remembering how strong Maiz was. He brought in fighters from alternate Dimensions to keep Maiz at bay. Maiz easily handled these fighters so Fuu brought in his trump cards. A version of Broly where his body was taken by Zamasu, and a version of Goku Black where he got the other Zamasu to take Vegeta's body. It was here that Maiz began losing. They were explosively powerful and Maiz had enough of the games.
