Today's my birthday so made this little thing as more of a notification than an actual art piece. *party popper* I've never actually celebrated a birthday with confetti or party poppers I'm eating a birthday pie instead of a cake because cake is eh but pie is yummy yummers

My birthday was also the date Nintendo shut down new content and some support for the Wii U/3DS in 2019 and the same date in 2023 when they discontinued internet services for those consoles. I haven't played on these older consoles or really any console at all until we got the Nintendo Switch, but I thought that was a small interesting detail to add in. Most of the confetti in the project was copypasted from a small batch of them and rotated and moved around except for the pink ones. The pink ones were not copypasted, they were all drawn normally, one by one.
