Give Back: Oceans rising Species striving When you look outside your window What do you see? Does it look as perfect as it seems? That bird is invasive That rabbit is sick With the pesticides that you pick That deer is on the run From the hunter with their gun When you see trash, what do you do? Walk past it as birds eat the mildew? Pick up the trash and put it in it's proper place, somewhere where it's safe We've tainted this land and now it's time to give back Start planting trees, convert to EVs Donate to organizations, helping this land So we can give back Give back The trees Give back The species Give back Their food Give back All of the other things too Without them we cannot survive Without our ecosystem none of us will thrive Without the animals, we will all die Give back To the people we love Give back To the hunt Give back To the children to come Without bees Without trees Without the animals that you see Life would be unseen This is only one part of a huge conservation series that I'm gonna be posting, so ask to be pinged if you want the next poem!
