Like many others in the US, I am now legally mandated to lie on government forms. I personally find the fact that Trump has managed, instead of terribly restrictive anti-LGBTQ+ legislation, only to require something relatively simple and automatically including our retaliation in it, funny. Also, I just think the fact that I legally have to lie on government documents deeply chaotic. But, not everyone will see it that way. Some are focused on the fact that our identities cannot legally exist any longer. Some are surely wondering what's next. And though I'm finding amusement in this first attempt at oppression, that doesn't mean I'm not worried too. If anyone who needs this sees it, I understand. But try to find the humor in it too, for the moment.
