It was a cold winter day in New York. The snow was covering the city in a beautiful white blanket, cars were honking, people were laughing, and Christmas decorations were everywhere to be seen. Maria took a deep breath as she took in the cold landscape. "This is gonna be awful" She whispered to herself before getting interrupted by her two older brothers, Julio and Hector. Hector, the eldest, laughed at her. "Why!? Because you have to walk in the cold snow? It's not even that bad." He said before taking a large bite of his Pan de Dulce. Julio smirked as he shared a knowing look with Hector. "Or maybe it's because you won't be able to see your novio." He teased, referring to Dante. Maria glared at him before grabbing her backpack and walking to the door. "Whatever." She said before she walked out and began to make her way through the snow and people. "Ugh. These boots were new." She complained as she looked down only to see snow all over her glossy leather boots. "Hola Princessa." Whispered a low voice as strong arms wrapped around her from behind. Maria gasped and turned only to find Dante looking down at her. "Oh, Dante, you scared me!" She said before she smiled and planted a gentle k!ss on his cheek. Dante chuckled. "That's the whole point, mi luna." He whispered as he captured her lips in a passionate k!ss. Maria smiled into the k!ss before breaking it and looking up at him. "I love you, mi sol." She whispered. Dante's expression softened as he looked down at her, the noise and background fading away until it was just the two of them. "Te amo, mi luna." {The End}
