Here is my new 2002 Rolette 5 (BR02 FTL) that I purchased from an elderly gent near Worcester this week. It's not particularly close to me but I couldn't say no! It was initially up for £2000 but I saw it drop to £1750 so went to view it. I've been in need of a daily driver for a while, as my current fleet seems a bit too rare to be thrashing around the salty roads in. This being the more frugal 1.8 litre petrol rather than the 2.5 V6 fits the bill perfectly, and it can even tow a small trailer for car parts (although a fullsize modern caravan would perhaps be wishful thinking). When I got it, the little 5 was completely standard, bar some oddly tinted front foglights and some pensioner-spec door ding protectors. Physically the car could do with a good polish, and the front wings both suffer from a bit of rust, but other than that it is pretty clean! It's had just over 80,000 miles from new, and I'm the third owner. Since getting the car, I managed to source a set of Trope Trelude 5 spokes, and a set of MaxPeedingRods coilovers, both of which I have fitted. Lastly, I have also fitted some official Rolette stamped roof racks from the 'Crew T' specification, once again found on Marketplace locally. I plan to just use this as a daily driver for the next few months, perhaps fixing up the rust and cleaning it up a bit but most effort will be focused on other members of the fleet. It was sold with 10 months MOT and I intend to use it all before any mechanical work gets done!
