[Lizzie] Now, I think I'm not the only one who's like to hear where you went, so could you...? [Pearl] Of course. Let me start with giving you a little context. Actually, a lot of context. This story needs a lot of context. To start things off simply, I'm an alien. [Lizzie] What?! [Pearl] I know, I know. Hear me out, okay? [Lizzie] ...Okay. [Pearl] I'm an alien who's learned how to be human. We're really not that different, just a couple biological differences. But aliens also live in the End. I do not live in the End. [Lizzie] Why? [Pearl] Didn't like it there, escaped as a kid. I got taken in by the people who's become my adopted parents, went to school, everything you'd normally do as a human child. I was in special help programs for awhile because I was in 3rd grade and didn't know how to read English. <laughs> Anyway.
