Press the left or right arrows to switch between colour schemes. Press the flag to fully start. Press space to pick a new gradient. Press R to reset the screen. Size gradient can be toggled on and off. At the point of skew, the dots will be smallest. The size gradient will be most visible if the screen is reset after changing the skew point or toggling on or off.
