It self generates them using formulas. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chaos_game HOW FRACTALS WORK: It picks a spot to start at and then goes halfway between itself and a random corner. Then it repeats that at its current position creating some nice paterns. The triangle is known as the Sierpinski triangle and is the most common fractal. Square 1 is known as the Vicsek fractal and occurs when the movement goes 2/3 and not halfway. Square 2 does not have a specific name but occurs when another possible location is the middle.
