_____________________________________________ Chapter One --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- There she was. A beautiful blond princess, waiting for Link. He took in some deep breaths as he let the silence fill his ears and the beauty of his leader fill his eyes. It had only been a moment, but Link knew the day had begun, and that studies were to begin. It was Zelda's favorite thing, to study and to learn, it was the first thing Link had learned. Travel had become a bigger thing because of it. Of course exploring was a trait both Link and Zelda had in common, and finding danger was a very common thing among the two. But as far as anyone knows, Link has never been defeated. So as a royal guard to the Lovely princess Zelda, he often got high praise and rewards. But the only reward Link ever wanted was to continue to be with the beautiful princess. Link walked to Zelda. He stayed quiet, but smiled as he got close. "Good morning," Zelda said with her slightly hylian accented voice, smiling with her words. Link nodded. He had never used his voice near the princess; too afraid that it will leave her unimpressed. Zelda turned around, her back facing her guard. "I told Purah we would meet with her today," She told him. Link knew that the Lookout landing was the home to Purah, Zelda's best friend and study partner. Link nodded and they began walking. Zelda's hair was starting to grow out again, from the short cut she had just a year before. Link preferred it long, but he loved it however she liked it. He walked in silence, watching his beautiful princess as she thought about studies. He wondered what it was like for her, always the one to be placed in a dark area. Zelda had always been there to help Link in all Calamity fights, sometimes the damsel in distress, other times she was the true hero. She had been through worse than even Link had, though he hated to think about that. She was the princess. She shouldn't have had to be stuck inside Calamity Ganon for a hundred years, she shouldn't have needed to sacrifice her personality for the destruction of the Demon King. It surely wasn't fair. Link would easily have replaced her, not wanting her to suffer. "Here we are," Zelda said, interrupting Links thoughts. "The Lookout Landing."
