The "Western Water Jug", named after the unusually bloated abdomen it has, is a terrestrial species of arthropod descended from Pseudocaris Terrestrias. It has decreased its size to 75 mm. It lives in semi-arid places, usually near water sources of Gurtos. It eats other small species by placing its abdomen filled with water into the ground, as well as burrowing its body except for a portion of the eye stalks. It stays there, and slowly digs up a "pit" by swallowing stones that it also runs throught its digestive tract to help with digestion. After that, it patiently waits for sometimes days at a time, until it captures a prey which it eliminates with a set of strong mandibles. Then it buries its prey under the ground, portions it and eats it over the course of a few days. During mating season, it risks its life, leaving its burrow to find a partner. After laying eggs or fertilizing eggs, it dies.
