86 202 (Formerly 86 102) was a Class 86 built in April of 1966, the operation region that 86 202 operated in was unknown but it might have been operated in the West Coast Mainline (WCML) and later (Circa 1985), it moved to the Northcoast Mainline (NCM) of Northcoast Railway (NCR). 86 202 (86 102 at that time) was still in service until 2003, it was scheduled to be scrapped in 2005 by BR but, the Northcoast Heritage Foundation Committee (NHF) somehow pulled the papers through and successfully gained ownership of the engine with the others, NHF was restored back into service with its original TOPS number (86 202) and its BTC number (E 31 50) (under the TOPS number) with the nameplate "Sir C. Graham A. Beverley" in honor of Graham Beverley, a very known figure in NCR and the namesake of Chrowchester Beverley Railway Station, 86 202 was still in service today and operates Rail Tours frequently.
Note that the story is not canon to real life (like Thomas The Tank Engine), but the engine (86 102/202) was indeed real, sadly scrapped in 2005 at MoD Caerwent, thankfully, there are three Class 86s that made it to preservation in real life (Les Ross, Sir William A. Stanier FRS and Mons Meg) and many others exported to Bulgaria and Hungary. (Source: Wikipedia) (The story is indeed canon to NCR's canon, but not Real Life canon) Side Photo of the engine coming soon. If I'm motivated enough I'll put up the entire history of NCR in another project.
