(This is only my opinion, so if you enjoy Kirby right back at ya I respect yours) You saw the title, so you know the drill. Yes that’s right, I know longer enjoy this….thing. It’s so stupid, like YouTube kids kind of STUPID. and why you may ask? Well there’s few reasons 1. Starting off, the characters exclusive to the anime don’t even look like Kirby characters, and are absolute eyesores to look at (except for Wolfwrath and sirica) like Nintendo hired some homeless dude to design over 120 characters for some cash grab anime. I mean like have you seen some the monsters in this show, like what on planet earth! Some monsters look so ugly (like cobgoblin, and dirk kirk and smirk, and trash basher) to the point we’re I might vomit blood and wake up in the hospital! 2. The storys behind some of the characters MAKE NO SENSE! like for example, the anime claims that Kirby is a star warrior, a being born to destroy monsters, BUT WAIT! In the episode Kirby's Duel Role, Kabu claims that Kirby is a monster created by nightmare. HOW ON EARTH DOES THAT MAKE ANY SENSE?! Like did the writers forget that Kirby is supposed to be a star warrior or something! Another example, in The Fofa Factor, Fololo and falala find out they used to be a monster named fofa, but in the island of the lost warrior When asked if they are monsters, Fololo and Falala claim that they’re NOT monsters (keep in mind that this takes place after the fofa factor). Like FOLOLO AND FALALA ARE ABSOLUTELY DELUSIONAL! Like how do the writers keep forgetting about these key factors about these characters! Oh wait because they are LAZY! I could go on because their have been many incidents like this throughout this anime but those two are the ones I chose to cover. 3. They reuse the same concepts Over and Over again, like they are running out of ideas or something. Like their are literally 8 episodes about cooking, 3 episodes about the whispy woods forest, 3 episodes about school, 2 (unrelated) episodes about pets, 9 episodes about robots, and 3 episodes about TRASH! LITERAL TRASH, like no one wants to watch episodes about TRASH!……..DISGUSTING! 4. This show has horrible character development, like does any one even care about Tiff, like no one likes her, not even me. The characters are either very boring or VERY ANNOYING. Like sometimes I want to punch the screen when I see them or hear their little high pitched voice (thanks for nothing 4kids, now Fololo and falala’s voice makes my ears bleed). And sometimes they are so boring, despite having great potential, I forget that they even exist. How wonderful! 5. sometimes they’ll make a character with great potential but throw it away and pretend like it doesn’t exist. I believe there are definitely a lot of characters I could go over I’ll just cover 2. Ok to start off Fofa could have been bigger then it was intended, like Fololo and falala used to be a monster who didn’t obey nightmare. HOW ON EARTH CAN YOU JUST MAKE SUCH A CREATIVE CONCEPT AND THROW IT AWAY!………(just thinking about it makes me furious)……..ok so as I was saying another character that fits this is yamikage, a former star warrior who turned to nightmare enterprises, and what the writers did with him is that they slapped him into one episode and didn’t care explain why he abandoned the star warriors. LIKE WHAT THE HECK! This character probably has the most potential than any other character in the series! Conclusion: In my opinion, Nintendo and Hal ABSOLUTELY went with quantity over quality with this anime, the scripts feel rushed, the character designs are horrible, it’s absolutely childish, and it doesn’t even feel like a Kirby anime to me. Btw i did the research on the main reason why the anime was made in the first place, and the reason is Nintendo wanted to sell Kirby games in America due to the fact that the Kirby series was not selling well in the west at the time. YEAH I’m not kidding, Look it up. OH, And the only episode in the series that felt like it was part of an actual kirby anime to me was THE PILOT!
