A teaser for a two-part series about two conlangs I've made for a novel thing I've worked on for a while now. Essentially, the whole thing about the novel is about an abandoned town in the state of Georgia, USA, in the aftermath of a mass disappearance in the state, where the town in question is ground zero. The toys in the abandoned homes and suburbs (which are sentient in the story a la Toy Story and have been since long before the disappearance) are thus left without their owners, and thus to fend for themselves. For some, this is a cataclysm that has robbed them of nearly everything, causing them to claw their way back up without their loved ones, and to have to work together for survival. For those without owners, this is a minor setback, and the world will go on as it has for them before, albeit much quieter. This series will follow two specific groups of toys who fit into the two groups aforementioned, how they grew to form languages and cultures before and after the cataclysm, how their languages work, and how they have been affected by the cataclysm.
