"The S0S Incident" ------------------------- The S0S sign case on Mount Asahidake started with two Japanese climbers who went missing and were found after authorities saw a large S0S sign from a branch. Surprisingly, the mark was not of their making, but saved them. Police later found bones, bags and belongings belonging to Kenji Iwamura, a climber who disappeared in 1984 when he was in his 20s. In her bag, there is a cassette tape with a male voice asking for help. Although his blood type and belongings matched Iwamura, his family could not confirm the voice was his. In 1991, the bones were confirmed to belong to a man, but the maker of the SOS sign and the cause of Iwamura's death remain a mystery. This case is a "cold case" that has not been solved until now. -------------------------
