Hey guys. Yeah, today’s International Holocaust Remembrance Day. I’m going to pray for everyone affected by the Holocaust and for people facing hate for being Jewish today. I highly recommend you do too, or do something special if you aren’t religious. No one should have to go through what these people did. No one should have to face hate for what they believe or who they are. I want to help everyone, but I have no clue how; I’m not good at talking to people, I don’t have the resources to make a big impact. However, what I can do is pray and be there for people facing any hard things. I encourage you to find ways to help people, however small they seem. And just know that I’m here for you if you guys ever want to talk about anything or if you just want me to pray for you; I will gladly do so and listen (let me know if you’d like me to respond with “I’m sorry” or something, a story from my life relating to what you’re facing, or just a simple heart so you know I see you and care). Remember that every person is human and therefore deserves respect and has basic human dignity. On a slightly brighter note, some cool people I suggest looking up are Saint Maximillian Kolbe and Saint Edith Stein. There are tons more amazing people from this time, including every survivor and everyone who died, that are worthy of remembering. Remember to treat everyone with compassion and respect. Adiós <3
