＊*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚intro*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚＊ hello! welcome to chalcedonyshield's adopted litter, consisting of a single adopted seakit named arctic-foxkit, who will give you a unique, engaging roleplay experience for many reasons! keep reading for more! ＊*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚backstory˚*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚＊ chalcedonyshield battled through the rough waves, struggling to tell which way is up or down. she had been thrown off course by the fierce storm that shook the skies and angered the waters, and had no idea where fae was. snow and hail and all other products of a fierce leafbare storm pounded on the water, so loud even donnie could hear it from deep underwater. she tried to fight xir way through the ocean's fury and promptly collided with a giant chunk of ice. ouch. this was a nightmare. how could fae get through this? the young warrior desperately tried to scrabble onto the ice, just managing to pull herself above the water and collapse onto the cool, hard surface, muscles aching. challie had been swimming for hours. suddenly xe heard a sound, a mixture between a squeak and a cough, and dee-dee whipped her head around, orchid eyes widening in surprise. it was a kit. a tiny, shivering, pale blue seakit, looking up at xem with these beautiful, adorable, shimmering blue eyes. where were his parents? did they abandon him here? or was he a victim of the stormy waves like donnie had been? the seacat had so many questions, but no answers. all she knew was that this kit needed help. and dee had the power in faer paws to /give/ the help. she wasn't particularly fond of the idea of becoming a mother. xe had high ambitions and determined loyalty to her clan, fae wanted to do her warrior duties and serve xir clan! but the warrior code that challie so closely told her to /never/ ignore a kit in need. and, for some strange unknown reason...she felt a tug toward this kit. a longing to protect him. so, bracing her muscles for the struggle that was sure to come, fae picked up the kit by his scruff and dove back into the water, to return to the seaclan camp. ＊*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚about the kit˚*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚＊ ＊*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚ -arctic-foxkit -arc, arctie, fox -amab -11 in. when grown -arctic-foxkit pads into view, his beautiful pale blue fur stunning everyone who sees him. blue stripes of varying shades on his ears and tail only add to the arctic appearance, as well as the same shades of blue on his head fluff and paws. along his flank is a thick ovular stripe of the same blue shades, with a pale blue snowflake pattern sprinkled on top. his fins are the color of a greenleaf sky, and his wide, innocent eyes are a darker shade, like the moment the sun starts to descend into its daily slumber. the inside of his ears are the same shade. ˚*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚＊ ＊*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚kit's age˚*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚＊ ＊*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚arctic-foxkit was a newborn when he was found and will have no memory of this. he will know he was adopted, however. roleplaying will start when he is 2 moons old.˚*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚＊ ＊*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚kit's disability˚*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚＊ arctic-foxkit was born profoundly deaf. this cannot be changed and will need detailed research, including how it will affect him. a roleplay example is required. he will not be able to speak and will have to learn to communicate using ssl, which is explained in the projects below. it is a requirement that you read them all. his name will be signed with a combination of the signs for "ice" and "fox" - swiping both paws up ears twice. credit to for the amazing idea of a sign language! ＊*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚meet the parent˚*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚＊ chalcedonyshield she/fae/xe 24 moons mom sign - paw at chin dee will be a very loving and caring mother. she'll be dedicated and determined to learn ssl so fae can communicate with xir son, and will soon be fluent. xe'll basically give arctic-foxkit anything he wants. she won't let anything happen to him, ever, and will be very overprotective. she will teach him the warrior code and basic hunting and fighting moves to get him ready for apprenticehood. fae is incredibly loyal to seaclan and will expect arctic-foxkit to feel the same way. she will only expect the best from him and knows deep inside he is destined to be a great warrior. she will absolutely yell at anyone who says he isn't capable because he's deaf. xe sees his deafness as not a disability, but a special superpower and will always tell him he's no different than any other cat - in fact, he's better!
