[˗ˋˏ Maplerise ˎˊ-] ★ she/her ★ ✧ “mama” ✧ ★ @archiepaw ★ As this is Maplerise’s first, and hopefully not last, litter, she is a very inexperienced parent and will treat these kits more as best friends than children. She’ll support them through anything and will be willing to give them advice and teach them, even if she isn’t the wisest cat. She’ll tell them about her parents, Dawnear and Carnationstar, and about anything else they ask her. ᯓ✧【 « They’ll tell the story of tonight » 】✧ᯓ ⊱──────────⋆⋅☆⋅⋆──────────⊰ ❮.ೃ࿔. ݁✎ ˖*:･༄❯ backstory Maplerise has had a weird few moons. Her dreams came true when she became a warrior, but she lost something more dear to her: her own momma, Dawnear. Dawnear and Carnationstar were Maplerise’s biggest supporters, and it shattered her heart to lose one of them. And when she found these kits in Mossclan territory, she couldn’t bear to leave them. ᯓ✧【 « Let’s have another round tonight » 】✧ᯓ ⊱──────────⋆⋅☆⋅⋆──────────⊰ ❮.ೃ࿔. ݁✎ ˖*:･༄❯ The Kits! ★ DUSKKIT ★ ★ “the darker stage of twilight” ★ AFAB ★ 9.7 inches ★ The oldest of the four, Duskkit has nearly white fur with splotches of brown and darker brown accents. Her left foreleg is fully covered in brown, while the left front and back legs have smaller spots. One ear is fully dipped in brown, along with one cheek, the tip of the other ear, and right above her nose. Her brown tail is also tipped with the same off-white fur. Her eyes are a sparkling sky blue. ★ named after Dawnear and Mapledusk ★ research required: none! ☆ FOXKIT ☆ ☆ “a carnivorous mammal of the dog family with a pointed muzzle and bushy tail” ☆ AMAB ☆ 10.1 inches ☆ This kit, who slightly resembles his namesake, is the tallest of the group and by far the longest fur. With his fluffy face, chest, and bushy tail, Foxkit may be mistaken for a real fox if you look at him from far away. But upon further inspection, he has reddish-brown fur with brown paws and ear tips. His underbelly, the lower half of his face, and the tip of his tail are covered in a lighter brown, along with under his eyes. He has sunny yellow eyes, pulling the look of this adorable kitten. ☆ research required: none! ★ MUDKIT ★ ★ “soft, sticky matter resulting from the mixing of earth and water” ★ AMAB ★ 9.4 inches ★ This stunning kit has a brown tabby pelt, with lighter paws, tail tip, and underbelly. He has jagged stripes along his back and tail, along with darker ears and marking on his face. His eyes, which slightly resemble his mother’s, are a mossy green. ★ research required: none! ☆ PETALKIT ☆ PRECLAIMED by ☆ ☆ “ one of the modified often brightly colored leaves of the corolla of a flower” ☆ AFAB ☆ 9.2 inches ☆ The youngest and smallest, Petalkit is a beautiful brown with a marking that looks like a flower spread across her back. She has dark brown ears with light tips, along with dark forepaws. Her belly is light, with chin and back paws the same color. Her strangest feature is her shortened tail, which is just a fuzzy stump when compared to her littermates’ tails.
