If you were just one foot tall, you’d take a toy car to school. A bathroom sink filled with water would be your swimming pool. A rabbit would be exactly your height, You’d run from cats and dogs in fright, To open a door would take all your might, If you were just one foot tall. If you were just one foot tall, a bread crumb would be a snack, And the thought of going on the swings would send shivers down your back. A sock would cover you head to toe, The wind would carry you to and fro, Your head would be covered by a bit of snow, If you were just one foot tall. You’d jog around a carpet rug as if it were a track, When you’re done you’d shower with a toothbrush to scrub your back. A tiny pillow would be your bed, Two inches would would be the size of your head, To finish this poem from beginning to end, it took weeks, 'cause im just one foot tall.
