1-4: sketch/lineart (i like a dark red here!! this is important later) 5-7: flats and overlay color variations! overlay is very helpful for making all the colors harmonize better (see 5-6)! 7: lineart on "linear burn" ! the red gives it a nice warm tone :D this is a more saturated version of multiply there is a slight gradient on all the flats using overlay as well, most notable on the hair and sweater! 8-10: multiply layers (shadows, an orange/brown gray) 11-12: locked multiply layer, swapped to a bright red, and airbrushed the edges so theyre a more saturated red. i also color corrected my darker shadows with procreate curves to be a bit lighter and less red 13: darker red lineart, render, popsicle color change :D 14: bounce light! the bg is cyan so the bounce light is cyan (except for the leaf on her hat)! some finishing touches too
