Never made a playlist as part of a dtae before so I decided to give it a shot. :] ┈┈➢ About: ➵ Name: Ravindran Mudaliar ⠀↳ Often called Ravi or Ravin by his friends; he usually uses these aliases in public as well, primarily to avoid getting his full legal name out there. ➵ Nomenclature: ⠀↳ Ravi (‘sun,’ Sanskrit) + indra (‘lord’), + n (masculine singular suffix). ⠀↳ Mudaliar, meaning “first,” which I found fitting since he’s a racer. Or “capitalism,” which also fits since he’s heavily involved in politics. ➵ Gender: Male (he/him) ➵ Orientation: Demisexual ➵ Alignment: Lawful neutral ⠀↳ My personal definition of lawful neutral to avoid confusion: Will not go out of his way to cause deliberate harm, but also will likely not go out of his way to stop harm, either. However, he doesn’t condone the harm or its intent, and he’d never purposefully inflict harm unless necessary. (His stance on “necessary” may differ from others, however, as he has his own moralities.) ➵ Personality blurb: ⠀↳ Ravindran is a snarky and over-confident extrovert, well-known in his hometown thanks to his infamous street-racing and political protests, as well as the occasional fight. He’s somewhat of a bully, albeit he prefers the term “tease.” Yet, he acts out more so due to desperation versus boredom or sheer will, being quite the attention-seeker. But he’s well-aware of where the line lies, which he purposefully doesn’t cross, although the consequences to his brash actions and lack of thought can sometimes push him past that line. ➵ Occupation: Street-racer, political activist, works part-time in a sports store, highschooler, soldier (later), dead (even later). ➵ Other: ⠀↳ Ravindran is albino, so he’s very light-sensitive, has low vision, and is prone to the elements. His visor thingy serves well to protect his eyes from light as well as sharpens his vision so he can see better. He often covers up well to prevent sunburns, and he’s more crepuscular/nocturnal than diurnal. (He is, in fact, not the sun lord.) ⠀↳ His wings are neither large nor strong enough to fly. Best he can do is frantically flap them while jumping to get some more vertical height. Comes in handy when playing basketball, I suppose. (He sucks at sports.) ⠀↳ He received the nick in his ear after an earring was ripped out during a fight. (He doesn’t know the first thing about fights smh… rookie mistake.) ⠀↳ Despite his reputation and hobbies, he doesn’t try very hard to be ‘traditionally’ masculine. ┈┈➢ Continued below. ═════════════════════════════════

So, I classically ran out of space writing it. </3 You can view it in a comment in the background sprite inside the project. I highly recommend reading it before continuing below or else things will make little sense. ┈┈➢ Extra information / miscellaneous: ➵ God knows how he got a license since he’s technically legally blind. ➵ Bald Mr. Clean looking freak haha. (He’s not actually hairless btw he just has very very short fur-) ➵ He broke one of his horns when he was a kid. He’s since then had the rough edges filed down. ➵ His visor has two settings: daytime and nighttime. The daytime setting is opaque and almost completely hides his eyes. The nighttime setting makes the (debatable) glass more transparent. The daytime setting blocks out most light, while the nighttime setting doesn’t have to do this as intensely as the other setting. It’s basically like having sunglasses that automatically changes the shade of the lenses depending on how much light it detects, if that makes any sense. ➵ He’s oftentimes squinting or seen with narrowed eyes due to his low vision, especially during the daytime. In the dark, his eyes are less narrowed since he can see better but he still squints a bit, mostly out of habit versus will. ➵ There was a point in time where I considered making him trans (ftm). I didn’t decide on this, though. But I never decided on him being cisgender either. So, I suppose it’s up for interpretation. He can either be cis male (amab), transgender (ftm, afab; post-transition), or maybe he’s aiab and identifies as male. However you wanna see him, it’s neither wrong nor correct, leaving his agab entirely up to the individual’s interpretation. ➵ He can see much better in the afterlife since the lights / daytime there are a lot less intense than on his home planet in the living world. ➵ One of the reasons he’s in this afterlife realm is because Vamika thought it’d be funny to torment Saanvi a little bit. ➵ Ravindran doesn’t know that Saanvi is agatic till after his death lmao. ➵ Random fun fact but some albino people have brown (or even red) hair, which I believe is more common in oculocutaneous albinism type 2 or 3 (or in the other types I’m less familiar with; not including non-oca types since yk ocular albinism is a thing). Ravi realistically probably has oca2 or oca3. ➵ And yes, the patches and cuffs on his sweater are purposefully mismatched. Just fit his vibe better lol. I have an idea for a small comic strip and mini animatic. Might get around to doing those. Might not. We shall see. This is the most art I think I’ve ever made for a DTAE. ~30 is kiiinda crazy ngl. That’s like one piece of art a day for a whole month. Not this month. But a normal month. I put more and more effort into entries with each one I post and now I’m scared what the next one will come to. Don’t mind the title I’m running low on dtae titles.
