I’m Ember, and I live in the Pacific Timezone! I use they/them or any pronouns, and I’ve been in Scratch camps since 2022! I have a passion for art, writing, and reading. I’ve been in SWC along with other writing camps, SAC, and SRC. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 002. Orion (Mystery) and Cassiopeia (Dystopian), but I do have more of a preference for Mystery! Mystery will be heavily themed on my OC, Orion’s lore. As the title of my application suggests, they would go missing and leave a trace of clues behind to find them. One of my other OC’s (Leo) would be “leading” the cabin. Dystopian would be less heavy on the OC lore, but I don’t have any ideas for that one at the moment. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 003. I have experience with co-leading an SRC Cabin (August ‘23), and leading an SAC cabin the previous two sessions (October 24, February 25). I have no SWC/WUC experience, but I have assisted with stuff outside of Scratch! >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 004. I can realistically dedicate about 2-4 hours to WUC. The characteristics that I value in a leadership position are communication, creativity, and dedication. I believe that a way I embody each of these traits are: Communicating with a host if anything serious comes up Ideas (for anything related to the camp, really) naturally come to me Dedicated to creating a relaxed cabin atmosphere and making sure any new campers feel comfortable >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 006. Strengths -- Again, I’m creative and dedicated to the leading experience. Communication is always a key factor in camps like this. Weaknesses -- I do have a tendency to procrastinate, though. A lot of stuff can pile up in a short amount of time and it can be difficult to keep track. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 008. I tend to struggle with procrastination, as I mentioned in the previous answer. In the case of me having to go inactive, I will pass the studio host onto a WUC host to take over temporarily. 010C.
