The End of the First Version of Chat is Coming Hey everyone! Just wanted to let you know that the first version of Chat will be coming to an end in one year. Starting on August 7, 2026, the first version will no longer be supported. After August 24, 2026, it will be completely gone across all devices—phones, tablets, laptops, and PCs. If you try to access it after that, you’ll just get an error message. Why is this happening? Well, the first version doesn’t work well with newer updates to Scratch, and it also lacks any content filters, which made it harder to keep things safe. Newer versions like Chat 1.3 have much more advanced features, so it’s time to move on. If you want to keep a copy of the first version for any reason, be sure to download it or remix it before August 7, 2026. After that, it’ll be completely unavailable. Thanks for using it while it lasted!
