Hold SPACEBAR to skip the intro. You monster. Use arrow keys to dodge white circles coming from the horizon. You can move UP, DOWN, LEFT, and RIGHT. WASD works too. Press SPACEBAR, Z, or X to shoot. Press SPACEBAR or the green flag to restart. How long can you survive against the sinister circle onslaught? Update 1: made player smaller, changed controls, enemy movement, and added some leniency for touching obstacles. Update 2: You can now restart the game by pressing SPACE. Also, you can now move up to help with dodging. Update 3: Made background fade to black before changing. If the background changes, that means that 10 seconds have elapsed. Oh, and it oscillates colors now. Cool cool. Update 4: The background and lines now rotate with the guy when moving left or right. Also, the sprite for the circles has rivets and rotates at a random speed. Update 5: A GUN! It can fire up to two projectiles onscreen, has a 0.2 second delay between shots, and it takes 3 shots to destroy a circle thing. The high score was reset because of how big the change was, and the title screen has a gun on it. Neato. Oh, and I changed the "YOU DIED" animation. Update 6: I added an intro scene! And added a different track for every third game. Update 7: Powerups!! Aww yeaaahhh!!! There are two main powerups, and you get them by shooting specially marked enemies. I also tried to optimize the game a bit more, but I can't do that much. 1. Spreadergun - does as advertized. You shoot one more boolet in a spread pattern. This might be a totally broken ability, but since fun is the main goal of any game... 2. Machinegun - Enables rapid fire. Starts out pathetic, but as you get more powerups, becomes something powerful. You can guarentee a high score if you mix a fast machinegun with an awesome spread. Another thing, is that I've changed the boolet aiming. I like this better. Update 8: New sprite-drawn numbers! They look cool! No new gameplay changes, but please bear in mind it might lag a tad more. Or maybe it's just me in the editor. Update 9: I find it's lagging quite a bit more than when I first made this, but regardless, I added some cool shading. I also added a counter for how many clones are onscreen. The hard limit is 256, but it should start lagging at the high 20's and low 30's...
