every once in a while i get a notification or 2. i check it them out, thinking someone commented or something on one of my actually good projects, only to be reminded that adventures in paldea exists. i have tried for literally at least a year to make something more popular than that piece of trash, but that still is the only thing people know me for. i have to shove my projects into tons of studios just so they have the chance of passing the 10 view mark. i know people always yap about how scratch "isn't about fame," but when only a few people consistently view your projects, you feel like almost no one cares about your projects. this site's motto is "imagine, program, share." "share" doesn't just mean "share with your friends," it also means "share with THE WORLD." and right now, the only way to share with the world is to make the same generic slop everyone else makes and hope that scratch team or some popular scratch creator sees and tells people about it. they don't even have to directly tell people about it, if they just heart the project, you'll probably at least triple the amount of views you have. anyways. if you make stuff "unique," (aka not carbon copies of the latest featured projects), the only way to get your projects seen is: 1. luck, or 2. advertise. advertising is universally hated here because of the whole "scratch isn't about fame" thing i mentioned before. i understand spamming projects is annoying, but just saying "hey check out my games" every once in a while isn't some kind of terrible selfish act. i feel that its okay to "advertise" on a project if not many other people are doing it (and if it's not annoying). And by "not many people," i mean you have to click load more a couple of times before you find another advertisement. but anyways, i'm bored now. thanks for listening to my yappage.
im not saying liking adventures in paldea is bad btw i just wish more people saw my other stuff
