(Summary in comments) (Scroll down for info) (Also more sprites inside) This is a series started by me but probably have already been started? Idk, but I just LOVE redesigning ocs! It's shows how much you've improved and it's fun to rework them as time flys because of creativity. I don't think any oc should be forgotten, cringe or not it's very fun to recreate.
-Info about character- (Backstory) This oc was a oc I made back in 2023 - early 2024. Their name was "portrait" and I named it that cuz...Well..I can't remember but all I remember was asking google what photograph photos was called :/ (I know, very very stoopid). I ended up naming that photograph/ Photo because I know deep down I do NOT know a name for her and still don't know what a photograph photo is called :(. I usually give them real human names instead of object names because I'm inspired by ONE (I think that's what the object show is called?) I actually have upcoming old objects ocs I made with actual real name!!1!1!1! But that's for future. I actually forgot about this character and I was scrolling through freeform (NOT ibis paint, too complicated to use for someone like me with ADHD and forgets a lot, especially my slow android phone.. I can't even draw on flipaclip without it being a very wavy line.) -to organize my old ocs before I made this I found photograph which at the time I made in scratch before transferring it to freeform. I went back to my old scratch and saw the old asset and stuff so I had a the idea to redesign it! -*before artblock will strike at me because of school* and I noticed she really looked like book notes osc which I wasn't trying to steal I just didn't know how to design character originally :((.. She was suppose to be thick instead of skinny and tall but I ended up just sticking with a thick photograph. (Design inspo N reference maybe?) Yes, I was a book note fan when the.. *ahem*.. "Allegations" happened so I just happend to take book notes osc as a reference but ended up being heavily inspo'd which it wasn't suppose to be! (trust.) I also used tips from "Booksetball" a channel on YT that gives tips on how to create osc stuff and it kinda helped? But again, I have bad memory and ADHD isn't helping at all so I didn't really follow or understand how to do the stuff they taught.. Another person I actually referenced from was webzforez! (Hope it's right I can't remember) I loved chalks deseign and personally and the voice fitted the character! Don't even get me started with the show, it's too underrated to be true!.. For the inspo I just searched up random object generator and when it said camera it hit me. ^("What if I made a photograph photo?") like I usually do, I search up the object to see if there's already a osc of the object already. I wanna make sure mines is original >:( oh, and once upon a time before windeylot was in the dandy fandom I knew him when he did osc animations! Which I was inspired and same goes for appel on tumb1r. (The design alone) (This is probably the shortest catalog) I thought it would be nice to make her paper related to stuff. Such as giving her paper clips as hair clips and her hair is basically base off of when I'm bored I usually use scissors to cut the end of the width and just make straight lines to resemble hair, I do this with some of my non object show ocs a lot, It's a habit. And the design is also base off of creativity, and arts N crafts! Her hair thingys hanging on the side was hot glued and the front hair was taped (if you can see the little tape at the starting end of the hair), and the spider resembles memory, Basically just old timing. (get the reference?) Uhm, yeah I might add more if I can remember more.
