New projects will be posted each month every season. https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/36012795/ --- Welcome to Part 1 of Productivity Tips! This project will cover 3 straightforward and simple tips, based on the story of a student doing homework! Oh, yeah, and I heard that there will be one secret tip that isn't mentioned here... what could it be? It's now your turn to watch this slideshow to find out! --- == Tip Conclusions == (come back after watching this slideshow) The 5-minute rule: Originating from the "2 minute rule", the 5-minute rule is a technique where instead of focusing on working on something, you focus on finishing the first 5 minutes of it. This could help build your confidence on finishing said work. You set a 5-minute timer, and work on whatever this technique is used for. After the 5 minutes, you can choose to stop doing said thing or continue doing it. Take breaks: Taking breaks is really important and it refreshes your mind. Although it seems like doing more all at once is better than taking breaks, it is really important to take breaks as doing too much is bad for our minds and bodies. Pick a time period (usually 30 minutes) and after that time period, take a break (usually 15 minutes). Time blocking: Time blocking is a technique where you schedule your time to complete work. It makes you feel responsible to complete tasks. Though, make sure to use time blocking as a reference and not a source of stress and anxiety. Every method of time blocking will not be talked about in this project, and it's now your turn to search it up and experiment with different methods and pick one you like! **Secret Tip (SPOILER WARNING)** Actually do it: If you clicked into this project, you probably want to learn how to improve your lifestyle. If so, always make sure to ask yourself, am I actually doing it? Sometimes, the easiest method to do things is to simply do it, instead of optimizing every single part of your workflow! --- Thank you so much for watching this slideshow and if you want to support the project series, drop a love and a favorite, maybe share your own tips or experiences, or just share it to a friend that might want to learn about productivity! --- Soundtrack by Brandon75689 https://opengameart.org/content/feel-good-island --- If you read through the whole description and you reached here (or if you skipped to this part), please help me propose this project to be featured to further support the project series Scratch Team reviews this studio every day to pick a project to feature. But since only people other than yourself can propose your projects, I need your help to achieve my goal! :D Just a cheeky little request, you can choose not to do so :P
