(Update: I named her Ivy after TinyTurtle and LittleLizard’s minecraft HTTYD dragon mod videos from my childhood, sorry!) Hello, wanderers! Sorry I haven’t been active recently, I have no defense aside from binging YT and Twitch ^^” BUT I have just gotten back from buying books at a Bookstore that was connected to a mall, and got more than I planned, including a new pet! Sooo…. 1-10: Meet my new, 3D-printed, adorable dragon, Ivy! She’s a silly goober noodle that I will treasure to the end of my days, and my sisters got dragons too! One’s name is Bismuth, and the purple and black Chinese dragon (not shown in project) doesn’t have a name yet. We got the trio from a guy who had a small stall on the bottom floor of the mall, who we’ll call Leon (not his real name). He was really nice and actually had his 3D printer at his stall, PRINTING SOMETHING! He had so many fidget toys there too, like a turtle with buttons on its shell that made a click sound when pressed, it was so COOL! He had SO MANY NOODLE DRAGONS!! It was so hard to pick just one each to take home, I WANTED TO TAKE THEM ALL <3 I think he has a website (started with cutiepie or something…) where you can see his 3D prints for yourself, and I recommend you check it out, because this noodle is SO ADORABLE and I think you should get some too! …wow, that was long…ANYWAYS-! 11-12: NEW D&D BOOKS! I’m currently the proud (if a little sleep deprived) DM of a 8-and-counting session long campaign, named The Fallen Monarchs, with my sisters as the players! As such, we’re all D&D NERDS (no shame in that), so obviously we needed some more books! (And dice, too! (you can NEVER have too many dice!(I currently have 6 sets))) 11 is a REALLY HEAVY BOOK (I’m not even kidding /srs)that contains EVERY REALM AND SETTING IN D&D! From the Feywild to Faerûn, the Shadowfell to Dragonlance, this book is filled with everything you need to know about everywhere you might need to go in your campaign! I haven’t read it much yet, but I will after I post this! 12, meanwhile, is…well, a book I shouldn’t actually have. NO, I DIDN’T STEAL IT! i mean to say that it’s the 2024 Monster Manual, which SHOULDN’T BE OUT BEFORE FEBRUARY 18, 2025! BUT, as we were heading to see Leon’s stall (my sisters saw the dragons on the shelves from the top floor, so that’s why we went down in the first place), we came across a small game store, and Hazel (which is what I’ll call my oldest sister), by some miracle, saw this in front of the counter, and asked “isn’t this not supposed to be out yet?” The person behind the counter said that, because they were a small store, they were allowed to stock things before they officially released, such as the new Monster Manual! We bought it, then went to Leon’s stall to see the AWESOME 3D PRINTED THINGS! Again, if you live in Florida, I highly recommend you visit Leon’s stall and buy from him, you won’t regret it, and you can even WATCH STUFF BEING MADE! ST will have my head if I give out addresses, but his stall is on the lowest floor of a mall that connects to the outside through a Barnes & Noble’s, so that’s the only clue I can give. That being said, if you do find the mall and find Leon’s stall, PLEASE DON’T BREAK OR STEAL HIS STUFF! I know it’s really an unsaid law not to steal or break stuff that doesn’t belong to you, but he has had multiple people steal and break his dragon toys, so I’d just like to tell you. You can pick up stuff, but be careful and don’t break it. Leon puts time, bl00d, sweat, tears and filament into his works, so if you break his stuff, that’s less money for him to buy stuff to work his magic with.
