Chapter 7 The New Girl: Later on that night Avery was getting ready to go back to her school so she could get some rest before school starts. She made it back to school and it was 12:00am in the morning. When she went up to her dorm she had to be quiet because her friends were sleeping. “It’s so late and I am so tired.” Avery whispered to herself. The next morning it was friday and Avery woke up to her alarm blasting and snoozed a million times. “7:30am!” Avery screamed. Her first class started at 8:00am but they had to be there by 7:50am. “Why didn't Jasmine and Claire wake me up when they did.” Avery grumbled to herself. Avery got ready and when she got out of her dorm it was exactly 7:50am. “I only have 10 minutes to get to class! That means I can’t get breakfast!” Avery cried. It was 10 minutes later. She got to her first class which was science. It was taught by a snobby and moody teacher, whose name was Mrs. Oorlong. Coming late would be horrible in that class. “Hi, Mrs. Oorlong. So sorry I am late!” Avery said, panting because she ran all the way to class. “You’re a minute late.” Mrs. Oolong said in a stern voice to Avery. “ I know, I-” Said Avery, being cut off by Mrs. Oolong. “ I don’t need your excuses. Princesses are always on time. “ Mrs. Oolong said. “I will.” Avery said, hoping to not get in trouble. “You will. Still you have to meet me after school for princess lessons.” “ WHAT!?” Avery cried. “Yes, being late won’t get off the hook that easily.” Mrs. Oolong replied. Avery started at her desk so she won’t make a bigger problem. “Thanks alot for waking me up when you did.” Avery whispered to Claire who was sitting behind her. After she said that she turned to the front of the class and rolled her eyes. The class door opened and a girl who was 5ft came in. She had jet black wavy hair and a pink and purple ruffled sleeves and layered dress. She had a gold glitter headband and a silver necklace with pink flat shoes. “Hi, is this class 8D?” The girl said. “Yes, it is!” Mrs. Oorlong replied. “Yeah, I’m new here. My name is Gemma.” Gemma the new girl said. “Yes I remember you were supposed to come a week late because of some royal things in your kingdom.” Mrs. Oorlong said. “Yes, that's me!” Gemma replied “Here your desk is right next to the girl in the row close to the back. Her name is Avery Jeal.” Mrs. Oorlong said. “Okay, Thanks Mrs. Oorlong?” Gemma said, looking at Mrs. Oolong's name on her desk. Mrs. Oorlong nodded at Gemma when she said that and motioned her hand as if she was telling Gemma to take a seat. “Hi, you must be Avery Jeal. I’m Gemma Davidson.” Gemma said. “Yeah. I am just call me Avery. Nice to meet you Gemma.” Avery replied in a dry tone. “You seem angry or sad, what happened?” Gemma asked. “Well I don’t usually tell people but do you know about the lost princess 13 years ago the baby was only 9 months and it was December 31st the baby got stolen blah blah blah?” Avery asked Gemma. “Yeah, almost the whole country knows.” Gemma answered. “Well that baby was me.” “You!?” “Yeah so pretty much yesterday I went to visit my parents for the first time ever so I left at 11:35pm and got back to the school at 12am so I woke up late and my friends in my dorm did not even wake me up when they did!” Avery explained. “Oh I’m sorry but also happy for you you got to see your parents!” Gemma said. “True. But I still have to do princess training.” Avery replied.
