Woot! Finished! I told you that I would share it with both parts in one so it looks better. :) Ok, I also promised you the story behind all of this. Since it won't be mentioned for a bit in Blackrune's Destiny, why not? Ok. After Pavati(a weasel) died the first time, he was brought back on the Mainland by his future mentor, Freyahl Nightstrider(a bear). She helped teach him how to better use the abilities he had, and helped him defend the forest he had claimed that later became known as the Forbidden Woods. Pavati and Nightstrider became almost like mother and son, and for Pavati, a half-replacement for his old partner in crime, Vlenshin. Several years later, Netis Moonwhisper(wolf), or rather the very much younger version of herself, was fleeing her tribe after a mistake with her own necromancer powers, and rescued from the tribe by Pavati, who did it more because they were trespassing. He did rescue her, and then started to teach her, although Freyahl was the nicer of the two training her. So, when Pavati was taking her to Freyahl for that day, that was where he "saw"(he had lost his eyes but could see the outline of things magical)Freyahl scrounging up berries. He smelled two other things, saw only one, which was Thalael(raven) and Thalael's father, Cyanil Blackmoon(raven). Cyanil was in the act of letting Thalael show him the archery Netis had taught him less than a year ago. Thalael was the only one of the two who didn't know Freyahl wasn't a normal bear, and shot her dead. Cyanil was the one who chopped of her head. Outraged, Pavati had stepped up and killed Cyanil, taking his own head. Thalael had fled, and Pavati had promised he would kill him in turn. Several years later, Thalael showed up with one of his friends, Bemossed Bloodbone(wolf), in the Forbidden Woods, after a dare made by a few back at Thalael's adopted tribe. Pavati spotted them both, and killed Bloodbone. Thalael knocked himself out, running into a branch and falling onto a rock when he tried to flee(again). Pavati brought Bemossed's body back, with aims to resurrect it as an undead servant, and brought Thalael back with the intent to remind him of Freyahl and kill him. When he did get around to bringing that knife up to kill Thalael, Netis had grabbed his wrist and stopped him from it. As Pavati put it, "having to breath keeps your spirit soft." Netis tried convinced Pavati to let Thalael, one of her few old friends, make up for his mistake. While Pavati didn't buy it, I can share no more of what happened, for it will be severe spoilers for Blackrune's Destiny.
