Chapter 1 The letter: (13 years later) An August morning 3 days before school started. Avery was about to go to 8th grade! “Mom, can I check the mailbox for mail?” Avery said. “Sure Ava!” Avery’s mom said. The mailman came and said “You have new mail, check it out.” “I will!” Avery said. She opened the mailbox and saw a very fancy white and red pearls envelope! “What's this?” Avery said. “I Have to show my mom!” Avery said. She showed her mom. Her mom opened it. “Honey I been meaning to tell you something.” Her mom said. “What!?” Avery said. Her mom explained how she was kidnapped by her moms sister. “WHAT!!!” Avery said. “What does the letter say!?” Avery said. Avery took the letter and started reading it. The letter said: You are invited to Emerald Stone’s Royal Academy. “For Royals”. Please come by August 19 thank you. Have a nice day! To: Princess Avery || From: Emerald Stone’s Royal Academy. After her “mom” told her that her mom said she could go to the royal academy if she wants. Avery said she wants to go to the royal school so she can be closer to her real parents. Her mom agreed because she did not think what her sister did was right. She had to accept her as a baby, because if she did not she would have been melted by her sister! Lucky her sister is trapped.
