hey there! I love how this piece turned out, so I wanted to share it! This started out as a doodle and experiment, and I never quite intended to portray the emotion of waiting, but I think that’s kind of how it feels— lost in a frozen moment of time. Anytime I added effects like snow or light, it seemed off. I think that’s because something was happening while the rest of the piece said that nothing was going on at the moment. This was such a fun piece to do. I am so excited to paint more like it, hopefully with more complex characters in the future!
