A story of a young adult named Celeste, and her other two sisters Luna, and CheChe, move to a beach off the Oregon coast named Detnauh beach. their parents sent them off because they didn't care for them, and want out of their hair. Soon after moving to this huge old abandoned house, they realize they might not be the only residents in that house.
We drove past a particularly unsettling house. The windows were cracked, roof tiles missing, and the dingy white paint had rubbed off. I squeezed my hand, as we pulled into the driveway. “This is our new house?” My sister Luna muttered under her breath. Me Luna and CheChe stepped outside of the car, worriedly. The driveway was overgrown with cracks and weeds. The weight of my boxes buckled my knees. As CheChe turned the handle, I got shivers through my spine. It was so nerve wracking, for some reason. Once I glanced into the house, it seemed huge. In the walkway, there were 2 huge curved stairs going upstairs, and on either side, there were couches and chairs, covered in plastic. “Celeste, go in first.” Luna pushed me in, leaving me in by myself. I walked up the stairs, having every other step creak behind me. Once I reached the top I crept down the hallway, I coughed because the painting of a little girl around the 1800’s was covered in dust. She had brown ringlets, a pink lace dress, and was holding a vintage teddy bear. It was astonishing to see how old it was, and still up. I noticed CheChe had run past me, claiming a room. I keep going through the hallway, walking steadily, making sure I don’t drop any boxes. I go to the door next to CheChe’s room. When I open the door, the first thing that catches my eye is a beautiful bay window, looking into the gloomy beach here in Detnauh Beach Oregon. “This is my room!” I Shriek. I set my boxes down, and take a good look around. The light blue wallpaper is tearing, and the floorboards are cracked. And there was an old stained wooden bookcase, up against the wall, with no books in it. I sat down and started to relax. This room will definitely need some work done, I thought.
