Death comes like an old friend in the night to the lovers in the garden – perhaps it was beside them all along, in the breeze and the swaying hyacinths, in the roses they gifted to one another, in the sweet smell of carnations. It was not unpleasant. Together they walked to the stars, tails intertwined, murmuring soft words under their breath for no other ears than each other's. Familiar figures, thought to be lost long ago come into sight, and delighted tears begin to brim in her eyes. After a thrilled look to her companion for approval, she ran to them, the ache in her limbs from moons of wear having dissolved in mere moments. Old family she'd never forgotten and new family she'd never known before, friends from what seemed like ages ago – all in one gathering. She had made it. Despite all her shortcomings, all her guilt, all her failure as a leader – she had been accepted among the stars. With cats she'd only ever heard legends of, cats she'd loved more than life, and most of all with him..? She'd turned around to find him once more, an action she'd grown so accustomed to. There had never been a time where she turned and he was not there, no matter the reason – whether she needed comfort, conversation, quiet, or even if she didn't know herself – he had been there. It had always been her own fate she feared, never his. Not once had she considered this. /Not once./ The new-found light seemed to drain from her all at once as she stared at the now empty sky behind her. "Nascentseraph..?"
at least in the living world, at 116 moon, nimbusveil's story is officially over. <3 i love this girl so much guys she is truly one of my favorite characters ever if not my favorite and it is. so surreal to see her go despite having this mapped out for the longest time LOL quick recap of her life bc i'm being sentimental but it really makes me so happy to see how far she's come i signed her up at the age of 25 moons on april 29th, 2023 <3 peep the two y/o bio since then she's had kids, fallen in love, become leader, died two or three times (once in a way that was kinda funny), and overall had some very drastic character development across the course of her long life and i love her so dearly for it i'm really thankful for everyone who was a part of her story! i can't list everyone here but this is her kids, her clanmates, her allies, so on and so forth hit nascentseraph rper quinn however you are the goat and ilysm thank you for lint they are my roman empire forever & always anyways. goodbye nimbusveil my darling girl i love you forever and always <33 and i am sorry for continuing your plot even after death you truly get no rest and i hope you know it's because i love you too much
