Min? [I turn to Mer and take her hands. My eyes fill with tears] Min: I have to end this. [Mer begins to tear up] Mer: But... you might die. [Tears are pouring from my eyes now] Min: I know. [My voice cracks. I wipe my eyes and give Mer a small smile] Min: I love you, Jazmer. Never forget that. [Tears pour from Mer's eyes and I turn away] Mer: [yelling] MIN NO- [Vines come and block Mer from view. I step forward and glare at ANTIJAS, tears still coming] Min: [determined] Fight me.
