I wrote a short story this time! Picture to go with, I'm going with the name Delta for him :) ~~~~~~~~~~ The room was dark, almost pitch black if not for the dim light struggling its way through the crack between the door. Delta was still trying to figure out how long he had been kept there, bringing his paws up to his face and trying to examine their state in the darkness. While one hand remained normal the other was a swirling conglomerate of blues, cyans and turquoise, a state he could only imagine his right eye was also in as he could feel the cool fuzziness settling against his face the past few days. It was as if water were splashed over his face, a water as cold as the ocean and as ever-present as it could be too. He couldn't get it off. At last the door finally opened, as it had a few times before. "Do you feel at home yet?" It was the same question every time they would open the door, a blinding light shining in so bright it left the figure to be relegated to nothing but a silhouette in his eyes. Previous times all Delta could muster was a frustrated "no!", however by now he was more hopeless than fed-up. The figure spoke again to prompt a response, this time making a slight alteration to the usual phrasing of the repeated question given at every other check-in. "Do you feel at home in your own body?" Is that what that question was all about this entire time? Delta looked around the almost empty room, now that he could given the light he was gifted and then back down to his paws. While his body had been going through some changes though he was certainly given the time to adjust, besides he started to care little for these interactions after all this time. "Sure..." Maybe a differ in response was what the figure had been looking for this entire time, a satisfied chuckle from them serving as a hint for that before they moved to the side of the doorway. He stood up in amazement, stumbling to his feet as he struggled to balance in his shock. He was finally allowed to just leave? after a simple word of agreement? That's all it took?! Beyond those doors everything finally started to properly come into view. Delta found himself in a sort of vertical labyrinth of sorts, pillars and staircases stretching up further than he could see and other doors leading off of those pathways as well. All the construction around him were various shades of grey, mostly of the lighter variety as it made its way down to white. Although random little objects were scattered here and there around the different platforms and pathways, completely random stuff that had nothing to do with eachother too. Watering cans, toy cars, headphones, books, you name it! ANYTHING! All in blue though, not a single thing had a trace of any hue straying from the blues. There was no way he was going to try and traverse up those stairwells, so he brought his attention back down only to realize it was the same thing that way too, it spiraled down infinitely too. He was left with nothing to do but wander the labyrinth.
